Virgin_green_fund

Virgin Green Fund is Virgin Group\'s investment firm whose aim is to fund the research and deployment of renewable energy and resource efficiency in the United States and Europe.

A team of four investment firms, formerly known as "Virgin Fuels", compose Virgin Green Fund:

• VBV, a joint venture between Virgin Green Fund and Bioverda is funding bioethanol plants in the mid-western United States.
• Indiana Bio-Energy is constructing a corn-to-ethanol production facility in Blufton, Indiana.
• Ethanol Grain Producers is constructing another corn-to-ethanol production facility in Obion, Tennessee.
• Lastly, Cilion will operate multiple plants on the east and west coast of the United States.
